Dr. Hussein Kalimuddin, DDS

Dr. Kalimuddin is originally from New York but has grown to appreciate the Texas warmth and wide-open green spaces after settling here with his wife and family.

He earned a dual degree in Biology and Business from Stony Brook University before attending dental school at the University at Buffalo. Following his dental education, he completed a General Practice Residency at Staten Island University Hospital, a level-one trauma center, where he specialized in treating medically complex patients and performing advanced surgical procedures. After his training, Dr. Kalimuddin joined his wife in California, where he led public health initiatives as the director of Lifelong Community Clinic in Berkeley, all while continuing his passion for private practice.

As a practice owner, Dr. Kalimuddin is dedicated to creating a welcoming experience for his patients, treating them like family. With specialized training in dental surgery, he has a particular passion for restoring smiles through implant-supported dentures.

Outside of the office, Dr. Kalimuddin enjoys staying active through tennis, pickleball, and working out at the gym. Along with his wife, a fellow food enthusiast, they love exploring Houston’s diverse food scene and trying new restaurants. Traveling is another shared passion, and they’ve had the joy of visiting several countries with their little ones.

  Dr. K and team deserve 10 Stars.  Thank you for taking care of me and family.  The staffs were friendly and professional.  They explained everything and addressed my questions.  Both Dr. K and the dental nurse made sure that I was comfortable for my procedure.  The office was super clean and modern in design.  The TV in the room was a huge plus.

Two dentists are great, hygienist is friendly & very good at her job, front desk associate was knowledgable, approachable, pleasant, and greeted me by name upon arrival.  Highest recommendation!
